Jennifer McGarigle grew up in Bodega Bay, California, surrounded by wildflowers and wilderness. After graduating from The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, she worked in the fashion industry before establishing Floral Art in 1993. Inspired by architecture, fashion, and interior design, Jennifer has developed a distinctive style that is fresh, fashion forward, and immediately recognizable. For over 25 years, she has enjoyed collaborating with her clients to translate their personal style and branding into luxury flowers, event décor, and fresh floral installations.
Jennifer has been profiled as a designer in Better Homes and Gardens, Domino, Garden Design, Los Angeles Magazine, The LA Times, and The New York Times among several other publications. She has appeared on television programs including MSNBC Your Business, LXTV Open House, Good Day LA, HGTV, KTLA Morning news and The Hallmark Channel. She has designed parties and tabletop décor for The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has also been a consultant for the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
In 2015, Jennifer was invited to create a fresh floral exhibition and teach floral design classes in Tokyo, Japan. In 2017, her company won Special Events Magazine’s, Gala Award for “Best Floral Design” for a VH1 event in NYC that included over 2,000 square feet of floral walls and steps. In 2018, she won “best floral design classes” in Los Angeles Magazine’s “Best of LA” issue. In 2019, Jennifer was selected to be the premiere floral designer of the San Diego Museum of Art’s annually celebrated Bloom Bash event, where she designed the notable forty-foot high “Rose Chandelier” floral installation. In 2020 and 2021, she was the official floral consultant for HBO’s reality floral competition show, Full Bloom. In seasons one and two, she screened and scored contestant auditions and helped to develop episode challenges.
Since 2010, Jennifer has been teaching in-person and virtual design classes that highlight how to make original floral arrangements. Along with providing DIY entertaining tips, the classes are designed to be fun, instructional, and inspirational.

In addition to her expertise in the floral business, Jennifer designs modern, nature-inspired home furnishings and accessories. With each piece, she infuses imagination and elegance while capturing the alluring beauty of flowers. Her furniture has been featured in Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy, Design Sponge, O Magazine, and Traditional Home, among many more media outlets with international recognition.
Jennifer continually finds new ways to experience flowers, changing our perception of them -- whether they’re in a vase, incorporated into home furnishings or part of a larger architectural installation.
